Augustina Chukwuma O is the newly appointed Executive Director at Union Systems Limited (USL), an Information Technology Company that provides financial software solutions and professional services to banks.

With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry she specialised in application implementation, business process re-engineering, project management, business process management, training and technical documentation. Worthy of mention are project management, analysis, planning and site implementation, training and Support on Ultimus BPM, Kofax Accent Capture, Opentext eDOCS, Misys Trade Innovation & Portal and Database Modelling and Design.

In the course of her career, she has had to consult with several companies across the oil and gas sector, financial sector, manufacturing sector and marine sector

Prior to joining USL, she spent 9 years at InfoSoft Nigeria Limited. While at InfoSoft she was involved in the data analysis, development, implementation and support of X-TRAC an indigenous share registration management system in several registrars like City Securities Limited (the case study for the development), Union Bank Registrar, First Bank Registrar. She was also involved in the implementation and support of ULTIMUS BPM at British American Tobacco Company Nigeria Limited and a shipping application for Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), Lagos. Was responsible for training staff and customers on implementation of Microsoft SQL Server.

While at Union Systems Limited as the head of the functional team she was responsible for the implementation of Misys (now Finastra) Trade application and the customer facing portal. She is well vast in several international trade products having participated in pre-sale activities like completing RFPs and demo sessions to implementation and support of the Misys (now Finastra) Trade Innovations System and Trade Portal at Access Bank Nigeria and Ghana, Union Bank Nigeria, First Bank Nigeria, Trade Development Bank Kenya, Zenith Bank Nigeria, Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria, First City Monument Bank.

She was also part of the team that implemented and supported the Opentext eDOCS (Hummingbird)- an Enterprise Content Management system at Stanbic IBTCPensions.

She holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Edo state, an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School and has attended several courses both locally and internally.
