About Eyitemi

Eyitemi Adebowale is a communications and marketing professional with a track record of helping organizations shape their perception, build and maintain meaningful relationships with their stakeholders using communication tools and strategies that align with their set goals and objectives.

She started her career as a social media strategist with Auxilium Media, a boutique agency catering to the media and communications needs of SMEs and for four years she helped clients scale and become more visible in the online landscape. From there, she became the pioneer Marketing and Communications Manager for The LadyMaker, a luxury fashion brand with local and international appeal. She created a media strategy that increased the brand’s awareness and opened new international marketing opportunities.

Eyitemi joined Platform Capital, an investment and advisory firm where she was among the pioneering members of the Brand Capital Department. It was here that she managed the communication and marketing need of the company’s subsidiaries across various sectors (Oil and Gas, Mining, NGO, and Banking & Finance). The diverse nature of Platform Capital saw her execute several campaigns across industries with various objectives.

Some of her achievement includes the management and execution of a global World Health Day campaign in eight(8) countries by Platform Capital.

Campaign Management and Execution of World Health Day in Eight(8) countries. I was primarily responsible for Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa and Nigeria Development and execution of a content strategy that drove the brand awareness objective of the group. Led the team that managed and executed a Pan -African Campaign creating awareness for the Unicorn Incubation Program in 9 countries Campaign Management and Execution of a National Academic competition that involved over 4,000 secondary school students from the 6 geo-political zones

Over the years she has honed her skills in Luxury Marketing, Media Relations, Brand and Campaign Strategy, and Corporate Communications. She is currently the Head of Marketing for Union Systems, one of Africa’s leading financial software companies. Here she is responsible for the company’s brand, ensuring it products are visible to its target audience and the company remains competitive within its business area.

She has a first degree in Accounting from Covenant University and a master’s in Media & Communications from the prestigious School of Media and Communication
