Emmanuel Kalu is the Vice President, Operations at Union Systems Limited, a financial software services company. He has a wealth of experience delivering innovative technology solutions in various sectors spanning banking, oil and gas and manufacturing. He has led major software development projects across different continents. As Chief Operating Officer at Union Systems, he drives innovation, improved operational processes and new technologies that provide outstanding value to their bank clients.

Prior to joining Union Systems, Emmanuel was the Chief Technology Officer at ActivEdge Technologies leading the company's technology vision to develop software solutions addressing the challenges in Reconciliation and Regulatory reporting for the top banks in the country.

In his past roles as Technical Lead, he led a banking software development project that birthed Retail, Trade Finance and Loan software solutions in three continents. He was also instrumental to the automation of the operations of the Logistics, stock and invoicing departments at a Leading FMCG brand and an Oil and Gas firm.

Emmanuel has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nigeria and a masters from the University of Lagos with over 15 years' professional experience
