Chuks Onyebuchi is the Chief Executive Officer of Union Systems Limited (USL). He was responsible for its formation and has guided it profitably in the last ten years under his trusted leadership.
Chuks dedication to creating strong teams with complementary skill has provided the blueprint for growth of the company from its launch into one of the most respected names in the Software Solutions industry in Nigeria. He is responsible for the corporate strategy for Union Systems which includes seeking new business opportunities and expanding international relationships.
He has over twenty years' experience in the management of software business. His experience spans sales and marketing, development & delivery of enterprise products to banking and financial Institutions. He is one of the most respected figures in IT business in Nigeria, having been involved as a team leader in the implementation of several successful projects that meet clients' objectives.
Chuks has extensive experience developing the African market on behalf of major international banking software and enterprise content management software suppliers. He has many awards and accolades from international organizations including being the highest selling and supporting regional agent for Misys Banking Systems.
As Chief Executive Officer, Chuks still performs many hands on duties; he oversees client relationships, provides stewardship to major projects and is in charge of business development.
He has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria (1986) and an MBA from ESUT Business School, Nigeria (1997). He is widely travelled and fully abreast with core IT issues on the global scene.

Aonghus joins USL as the company embarks on a growth strategy covering Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.
He has experience of business development in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. He is very effective at developing relationships at board level, understanding the decision making process within large corporates and institutions. His areas of expertise cover software development, payment systems and renewable energy
Following an early career in technology systems with US multinationals Wang and McDonnell Douglas, his entrepreneurial activity began in 1993 as founder of Card Services International (CSI) an early innovator in smart card technology.
By building an advanced research and development team in Dublin and partnering with the world's largest chip card manufacturer Gemplus and IBM, his company secured major contracts with British Airways in London, Visa International in San Francisco, ValuCard in Nigeria and MasterCard in Hong Kong. This business was acquired in 2002 by a UK based company and is today owned by a French multinational.
In recent years, working closely with Enterprise Ireland, he has helped Irish companies expand into international markets while maintaining the strong ties with Nigeria established during his CSI days.
He is now based in Lagos and shares the USL Vision of seeing Lagos develop as a Global Financial Services hub.
Educated at Belvedere College, Dublin, with ongoing management training at the Irish Management Institute, Dublin and Babson College, Boston.
General Manager Operations
Lateef serves as General Manager Operations with a mandate to ensure the company runs efficiently to provide the best service to our customers.
He has a trove of experience in the banking software industry that spans well over a decade. Prior to joining Union Systems, Lateef worked with Neptune Software Plc as a software developer with major contributions to the Supernova Project (Rubikon Universal Banking System).
He also worked as a consultant to NCR and other clearing solution vendors to develop and implement cheque truncation systems for major banks in Nigeria and Ghana. Lateef has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
